Frequently Asked Questions About Virginia Beach Bounce House and Party Concession Rental
1) What do I need to do to reserve my rental?
2) How many servings will I get out of my drink machine?
That depends on which flavors you choose. Most flavors make 3 gallons of mix and a few make 5 gallons of mix. The 3 gallon mixes will produce (48) 8 oz servings and the 5 gallon mixes will produce (80) 8 oz servings. The worst thing to happen at your event is you run out of drinks. For medium to large size gathering, we have always found to it best to purchase at least 1 more bottle of flavor mix to be on the safe side. Read about flavors on our drink machine and flavors page.
3) How many servings does my concession rental come with?
The concessions rentals come with roughly 60-75 servings. Its an estimate depending on how big your cotton candy cones are made, how much syrup is used on your sno cones and how much popcorn you serve to your guests. For each concession, you can purchase an additional 60-75 servings for $25 and we have generally found this to be a good idea.
4) How does delivery work?
Delivery inside of Virginia Beach is generally free. Delivery to outside areas of Virginia Beach does have a delivery fee that is applicable depending on the distance that needs to be traveled and the total amount of your invoice. Call for details.
During your reservation conversation we will generally work out acceptable delivery and pick up times. We are very flexible.
5) What if I need to cancel? Is the deposit refundable?
If canceled 7 or more days out from delivery, your deposit will be applied as a credit to a future rental. Deposits will not be refunded for rentals that are canceled with less than 7 days until delivery. However, we will apply the deposit to a future rental if the cancellation is weather-related.
6) What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit cards.
7) Do I need a permit to rent a bounce house?
If the event is being held on private property, no permit is needed. However, cities, such as Virginia Beach, require the renter to obtain a permit if the bounce house is set up on public property such as a city park.
For example, the city of Virginia Beach charges $50 and it is the responsibility of the renter to obtain the permit. Additionally, the city of Virginia Beach requires that we provide an attendant if the bounce house is set up on public property. We will be happy to provide an attendant for $25 per hour to comply with city laws.
Permit requirements and costs may vary by city. If you plan to have your event on public property, please check the local government website of the city where the event will be held to determine what is required.
8) Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured by the CIA. Please note: All individuals and companies that rent a bouncehouse or concession equipment are required to sign a liability waiver prior to set up. We CANNOT set up a bouncehouse or concession equipment until the liability waiver is signed.
